British Pie Week

This British Pie Week, it’s all about Sharing a #PieceOfThePie.

Whether that be with your household, virtually with a friend, or with those in need.

This year, we’re teaming up with the brilliant team at FareShare to help fight hunger and tackle food waste here in the UK. For every Higgidy pie sold during British Pie Week 2021 (1st-7th March), we’ll be donating a meal to FareShare. That’s set to be a whopping 100,000 meals!

To help ensure that a meal goes to someone that needs it, please do keep an eye out for our stickered packs instore and online this week (they’ll look just like the picture below) and pop a pie in your shopping basket. Not only will you then be able to enjoy a tasty pie week treat but you’ll also be doing some good too (so thank you in advance).

At Higgidy, we’ve worked with FareShare for a number of years and regularly donate any extra pies, quiches or rolls to our local friends at FareShare Sussex who redistribute them to local food hubs, food banks and community projects. A worthwhile cause, we’re sure you’ll agree.
