We pride ourselves on listening to and taking feedback on board and have forums for our people to share their thoughts. These include our ‘Kitchen Cabinet’ staff forum and our Suggestion Box where people from across the business can put forward new ideas.

Since Higgidy started in 2003 we’ve always strived to give back to the communities around us. Whether that be donating surplus stock, baking cakes and hosting office fundraisers or volunteering our time at local beach cleans or in smaller businesses who need a helping hand.

Here’s a snapshot of some of the great stuff we did in 2021:​

• Over £2,500 donated to our Charity of the Year Safe in Sussex ​
• Over 18,000 meals donated to FareShare Sussex​
• 128 volunteering hours from staff across Higgidy
• £6,000 donated to the South Downs National Trust to support their tree campaign and some volunteering hours to help with hedgerow planting​
