Win tickets to Valley Fest 2023 – Terms & Conditions

The Promoter

• The Promoter is Higgidy of 60 Dolphin Road, Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex, BN43 6PB.

The Competition

• The title of the competition is Win Tickets To Valley Fest 2023
• Win 2 x Adult Weekend Admission to Valley Fest 2023 (Valley Fest, Denny Lane, Bristol, BS40 8SZ) including camping

Please note: this prize does not include car parking.

How to enter

• The Competition will run from 6pm on 13th July (the “Opening Date”) to 10am on 21st July 2023 (the “Closing Date”) inclusive.
• All Competition entries must be received by Us on via the entry form by no later than 10am on the Closing Date. All Competition entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified and will not be counted.

To enter the Competition:

• Complete the form on the Higgidy website, here.

We will not accept:

• responsibility for Competition entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind or
• proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the Competition.
• By submitting a Competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
• Winners will be chosen by random draw performed by a computer process on 21st July 2023 (“Draw Date”).

Eligibility

The Competition is only open to all residents in the UK aged 18 years or over, except:

• Our employees or Employees of our holding or subsidiary companies;
• employees of agents or suppliers of Ours or Our holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the Competition or its administration; or
• members of the immediate families or households or (a) and (b) above.
• In entering the Competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize or a prize you may win. We may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Competition.

We will not accept Competition entries that are:

• automatically generated by a computer;
• completed by third parties or in bulk;
• illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with;
• photocopies and not originals; or
• incomplete.

We reserve all rights to disqualify you if you conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the Competition.

The Prizes

• 2 x Adult Weekend Admission Valley Fest 2023 including camping, worth £179 each
• £50 worth of Higgidy vouchers
• A copy of the Higgidy Veggie Cookbook

Ticket T&Cs:

• The tickets are not refundable.
• The tickets cannot be exchanged, transferred or resold for commercial gain.
• Visitors will not be allowed admission to the festival without a valid ticket.
• For the safety of visitors to the festival, the organisers reserve the right to refuse admission, and may, on occasions conduct security searches.
• Please check all your tickets once you receive them as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
• The organisers reserve the right to alter or vary the content or timing of the whole or any part of the festival due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control without being obliged to refund or exchange tickets.
• The organisers cannot accept financial or other responsibility for any loss or liability incurred by visitors to the festival as a results of contracts entered into by visitors with any exhibitor or advice sought or obtained by any exhibitor.
• The organisers cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property brought to the show.
• Visitors may be filmed or recorded for broadcast or security purposes during the festival.
• The sale of any articles in the gangways or anywhere on the exhibition premises is strictly forbidden except with the written permission of the organisers, and the organisers reserves the right at their absolute discretion to confiscate any such articles for infringement of the condition.

Winners

• Our decision, or the results of the Competition, are final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
• We will contact the winner personally as soon as practicable after the Announcement Date, via the email address they used to enter the competition.
• We will either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation, we will post an update on the competition page and, if applicable, their winning entries to anyone who writes to the address set out at the top of this page (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within two weeks after the Closing Date of the competition.
• If you object to your name being published or made available, please contact Us at the address shown at the top of this page or by email thekitchen@higgidy.co.uk. In such circumstances, We must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

Claiming the prize

• Please allow up to 5 working days for delivery of the prize AND if you are the winner of the prize, you will have 48 hours from the Announcement Date to claim the prize by replying to us via email. If you do not claim the prize by this time, your claim will become invalid.
• We will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available or has not claimed their prize within 48 hours of the Announcement Date, We reserve the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date.
• We do not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.

Limitation of liability

• Insofar as is permitted by law, We, Our agents or Our distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize, except where it is caused by Our negligence, Our agents or Our distributors or that their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

General

• Entrants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. We reserve the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
• We reserve the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the Competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
• Personal data supplied during the course of this Competition will only be processed as set out in Our Privacy Policy https://www.higgidy.co.uk/privacy-policy/
• This Competition will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
